Located in Royse City, Texas, Royse City Veterinary Hospital has been proudly serving the Rockwall County area since opening our doors in 2019. Located just minutes outside the DFW metroplex, Royse City is a growing city with a small-town heart. It features plenty of affordable, new housing with excellent schools, and plenty of open space to preserve the small-town feel. We understand the importance of having a healthy work-life balance, which is why we offer flexible scheduling with no on-call or after hour emergency shifts.

 

Practice Overview

Royse City Veterinary Hospital is a full-service Veterinary Hospital with the goal of helping client’s pets live long, happy and healthy lives.  We believe that a key element to a healthy pet is a great relationship with your veterinarian. Our newly opened hospital features a full in-house lab, ultrasound, digital radiography, and digital dental radiography.  In addition, we have a mobile orthopedic surgeon, cardiologist, internal medicine specialist and diagnostic sonographer who routinely visit our hospital.  We are committed to professional, caring, personalized service, and we take pride in our dedication to the highest standards in veterinary medicine. What You’ll Be Working On

  • Build and maintain current and prospective client relationships

  • Preventative wellness care, diagnostics, and treatments on a variety of small animal cases

  • Perform small animal surgeries and dental procedures with opportunity for mentorship

  • Ensure quality care and environment for both staff and clients

 

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from an accredited program is required

  • Be licensed or able to be licensed in the state of Texas

  • Two years of experience preferred, open to new graduates

  • Ability to work rotating Saturdays from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM

  • Highly motivated, with a demonstrated passion for excellence and continuous learning

  • Demonstrated commitment to ethics and integrity

  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills

  • Strong organization, time management, and attention to detail

Experienced Veterinary Receptionist

Receptionist

Position Overview

Are you a people person and love animals. Royse City Veterinary Hospital is a rapidly growing family owned practice that is looking to hire an experienced part-time Veterinary Receptionist. We are a full service veterinary hospital offering caring, friendly, kind and knowledgeable services with the goal of helping client’s pets live long, happy and healthy lives. Candidate needs to be highly motivated, a self starter, pays attention to detail and be able to multitask.

Responsibilities: Greets clients, maintains client/patient records, schedules patient appointments, receives and transmits telephone and other messages, refills prescriptions, prepares invoices and collects payments, answers client’s inquiries about hospital policies, basic pet care questions and estimates costs of procedure, prepares health certificates, immunization certificates, laboratory reports, euthanasia certificates, surgical and drop off consent forms and reminders, and performs a variety of other related services, etc.
