In 2019, after 11 year of practicing veterinary medicine in Rockwall County, Dr. Rogers opened Royse City Veterinary Hospital with the vision that a key element to a healthy pet is a great relationship with your veterinarian.
We are full service Veterinary Hospital offering caring, friendly, kind and knowledgeable services with the goal of helping client’s pets live long, happy and healthy lives.

MEET OUR VETERINARIANS

Leslie Rogers, DVM
Dr. Rogers completed her Bachelor of Science in biomedical science in 2004 and graduated Cum Laude from Texas A&M University Veterinary School in 2008. She is passionate about helping pets and keeping them and their families happy and healthy through preventive care. Her special interests include preventive medicine, dentistry, internal medicine, and dermatology. She is always striving to learn new things to better help her patients.
She has lived in Royse City since 2008. Outside of the hospital, Dr. Rogers enjoys gardening, cooking and watching Aggie football. Most importantly, she cherishes the time she gets to spend with her family. She and her husband have two children. Dr. Rogers' home is also shared with her dogs, Sully and Sweetie, Labrador retriever mixes. They keep her quite busy!
Reena Gannon, DVM
Dr. Gannon completed her Bachelors degree in Biomedical Science in 2019 and graduated Cum Laude from Texas A&M University Veterinary School in 2023. She is interested in Neurology, Dermatology, and Nutrition, but loves all aspects of preventative medicine.
Dr. Gannon grew up in Houston, Texas and moved to Royse City in 2023. She and her husband care for two rescue dogs, Tallie and Deno. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, photography and listening to music.


Jessica Kohout, DVM
Dr. Kohout completed her Bachelors of Science and Arts degree in 2016 from the University of Texas and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine in 2021. She is passionate about providing quality care for pets and the people who love them. She believes that helping pet owners understand their pet's health empowers them to make confident decisions and provide the best possible care. Her special interests include preventative care, cardiology, internal medicine, and geriatric medicine.
Dr. Kohout grew up in Plano, Texas and has lived in Texas her whole life. She loves traveling, reading, hiking, and watching the Dallas Stars! She spends most of her free time with her cat, Garrett, and two dogs, Stella and Copper
